Big four accountancy firm

Overview

This is a national contract has locations around the UK, so when we won the contract, the TUPE process involved both primary and secondary TUPE from a number of different suppliers. Our approach to the transition resulted in minimal impact to the operation, and the implementation of quick wins early on during the mobilisation phase, saw a marked increase in the levels of service. The Firm has five principal buildings in London all of which had full mailroom operations.  We worked with the client to centralise the mail function into one building in order to deliver headcount savings, space savings and a more flexible and robust service.

Key successes

The centralised mail facility was a great success, with space and cost savings achieved. The entire move and reconstruction of the mailrooms was completed in one weekend, ensuring minimal disruption to the service during the transition period. There has been no adverse feedback from customers due to the change.
