Exciting futures
Motivating and rewarding our people is part of our daily routine.
When you join MITIE, it’s just the first step towards an exciting future. People join us and stay with us - that’s something really special.
We want to make sure that all our people want to do their jobs better than anybody else in the world. This means they need lots of opportunities ahead of them: we want them to find inspiration from skill development and career progression.
When people join MITIE, it’s just the first step towards an exciting future. Looking after our people is important to us – it’s part of our ethos and culture: creating jobs, providing opportunities and helping people fulfil their potential, every day. That’s why we offer a comprehensive range of career and personal development opportunities. These include a mix of programmes and apprenticeships that make sure we nurture our talent at each and every level.
To help you with your exciting future at MITIE, we have produced several handbooks that will give you more information about working at MITIE and what to expect:
MITIE Skills Centres
Giving school children an introduction to construction and building skills, our Skills Centres currently have over 500 students studying on nationally recognised construction vocational courses. And they’re not the only ones who benefit: from the young individuals whose skill sets and employment prospects are improved and the schools whose attendance and pass rates have increased, to the communities that have access to new facilities out of school hours – everyone involved takes something away with them.
Training and development for all
Looking after our people is an integral to what we do at MITIE. It’s part of our ethos and culture; creating jobs, providing opportunities and helping people fulfil their potential, every day. That’s what MITIE believes in and we’re incredibly proud of it. Which is why we offer a comprehensive range of career and personal development opportunities. These include a mix of programmes and apprenticeships from Skills for Life, NVQs and ILM Management Development Programmes to name just a few.
