That’s why at MITIE we have our own in-house team of lighting designers who understand light and all its subtleties and nuances. Creating and using light effectively requires a blend of art and science as well as extensive knowledge of fast changing technologies that bring endless new possibilities as well as technical challenges in implementation. Our team understands this as well as the diverse needs of users – designing for retail requires a completely different mindset and approach to corporate HQ’s or public space.

MITIE Lighting Design is really different in that we aren’t just interested in design. This includes creating a lighting specification for your organisation, new build lighting installations with all the associated lighting controls, retro-fitting, planned lighting maintenance and safe environmental disposal of lamps.
